AgileTalks #28 – Management 3.0 – Worker Happiness

⚫ The first speaker of the evening is Ralph van Roosmalen. His talk is titled "Management 3.0 – Worker Happiness"

Management 1.0, 2.0, 3.0 and maybe even 4.0? Is this just a hype, why do we need management when we have Scrum and other Agile frameworks?
In this session, we will talk about different management styles, and also why Management 1.0 but even 3.0 can be wrong… We will also look at the six views, six views that are the responsibility of management. That does not automatically imply managers!
In the second half, we will look at Happiness. The Happiness of Workers and why it is essential to make sure everyone is as happy as possible. This won’t happen automatically, and we are going to look at the 12 steps to Happiness.
At the end of this talk, you should be able to know the differences between the different Management styles and have at 12 ideas how to increase happiness at work.

Ralph is specialized in Management 3.0, being agile and building (distributed) agile software teams. Furthermore, he is the first person who wrote a book about Management 3.0 besides Jurgen Appelo. The book is called "Doing It - Management 3.0 Experiences" where Ralph shares his many
experiences with Management 3.0 practices.

Agile Coach Camp is a safe environment where you can test your crazy ideas, learn from others and find new friends from the community. If you are an experienced Agile enthusiast ready for exchanging ideas, learning and sharing, coaching and being coached, this event is for you.

Adrian is a Certified Scrum Master, Agile enthusiast since 2011, organiser of Agile Coach Camp since the first edition (2016).
