19 October 2010 – Agile Community in Cluj – Meeting
The second meeting in the same location (Sigma Center Building, Republicii street, no 109, floor 7 at Siemens PSE), with Mr. JB Rainsberger as our special guest.
- - Scrum - basic principles;
- - Does TDD Really Work?
TDD (Test Driven Development) is a way of developing software by writing tests first and letting the tests drive the design of the software. While some of the benefits are clear - less time spent on doing repetitive testing work, breaking analysis paralysis by starting to write code immediately, much smaller probability of introducing issues -, the technique is still deemed controversial by many people.
Our special guest, JB Rainsberger, has more than 10 years experience in using Test Driven Development.
Agile community members joined this meetup to discuss all the aspects of this technique:
- - Does it work?
- - Is it economically viable?
- - Can anyone do it?
There was a meeting with questions and open discussions starting at 18:00 o'clock!
Thank you very much for your interest,
